Dr. Sosunmolu Shoyinka is a distinguished Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, with over 20 years of dedicated experience in treating depression. Renowned for his expertise, Dr. Shoyinka has a proven track record of helping individuals overcome their struggles with depression through personalized and effective treatment strategies.

His extensive training at prestigious institutions like Yale, Columbia, and NYU, combined with his Triple Board certification and MBA from the Kelley School of Business, uniquely equip him to address the complex needs of his patients. Dr. Shoyinka has also made significant contributions to mental health advocacy, having testified before Congress on critical issues related to access to mental health services.

As the former Chief Medical Officer for the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), he successfully led the redesign of Philadelphia’s crisis system, earning recognition from the Biden Administration for his innovative work on crisis services and the implementation of 988.
